Our Wimbledon club uses the Upstairs Main Hall at the Old Rutlishians Rugby Club to offer all UKKFF members a weekly 2-hour training session in Kung-Fu, our primary unarmed martial art system.
General Class Tuition
Wing Tsun Kung-Fu is taught on Tuesdays, 20.00-22.00 in the Upstairs Main Hall.
Escrima Concepts is not currently taught at this venue.
All General Classes are split by grade and are suitable for all experience levels.
Members are required to wear official uniform & should bring their own weapons, sparring gloves & focus pads.
Enrolment
Beginners and new students are welcome to join this class for a 4-week free trial right now, or at the start of next term.

Club Facilities
Housed in the historic Old Rutlishians pavilion, our venue benefits from an airy, spacious training area with wooden floors, mirrors, toilets, changing rooms, lounge area and kitchen too. We also have a great bar onsite for winding-down after each training session over a drink with your friends & colleagues.

Club History
Our Wimbledon club has a very special place in the history of the UKKFF. It was the original martial arts school opened by Sifu Lee Paul Heron when he first began teaching across the South-West London area.
The club opened its doors in 1999 and was originally located in St John’s Church Hall, South Wimbledon. Our small but dedicated membership met there each & every week until the start of 2002, and we are proud to report that several of these original members are still with us, more than a decade further on!
When LPH began teaching the martial arts as a full-time profession instead of a part-time hobby, the class numbers rapidly expanded. Thus in May 2002 we moved the club to larger & better appointed premises at Wimbledon Leisure Centre. This well-appointed venue was the home of our Wimbledon club for over a decade, until in 2012 they decided to stop hiring their facilities to outside groups following a major refit of the venue.
Thus in June 2012 the club moved to the Old Rutlishians Rugby Club, and we have to say it’s a much nicer feeling there. Less corporate, more friendly, and a much better club atmosphere all round. So, after more than 13 years, our club in SW19 is still going strong.
