Club History
Our Richmond-Upon-Thames school opened in October 2008. It was the first school to be opened by instructor Joe Jackson-Taylor, who has studied martial arts with Sifu Lee Paul Heron since 2002, became an assistant instructor for the Federation in 2006, and is now running several clubs of his own. We are very proud to have such an able, dedicated practitioner represent us here in the Richmond, Ham & Twickenham area.

Classes were originally held in a small studio at the Richmond Adult Community College. However due to steady growth and a desire to offer better facilities to our members, the school relocated to the excellent Cannons Health Club in April 2009, and we expect to remain here for a long time. The club originally met on Wednesday evenings until the start of 2011, when we managed to secure a better, longer time slot on Monday evenings.

Come & Join Us
Our Richmond-On-Thames club has welcomed students from many surrounding towns including Twickenham, East Sheen, Mortlake, Kew, Brentford, Chiswick & Isleworth. If you’re within reach and want to know more about real martial arts, come & give us a try for 4 weeks, completely FREE. You’ll find us friendly, relaxed, happy to share knowledge, and experts at what we do. Welcome to the UKKFF.
