Our Guildford club uses the Dance Studio at the LA Fitness Leisure Centre in Merrow to offer all UKKFF members a weekly 2-hour training session in Kung-Fu, our primary unarmed martial art.

General Class Tuition
Kung-Fu is taught on Thursdays, 20.00-22.00 in the Dance Studio.
Escrima is not currently taught at this venue.

All General Classes are split by grade and are suitable for all experience levels.
Members are required to wear official uniform & should bring their own weapons, sparring gloves & focus pads.

Enrolment
Beginners and new students are welcome to join this class for a 4-week free trial at the start of each new term.

How To Get Here
By Train – No station within walking distance. Buses from East Horsley or Guildford stations (outside Travelcard Zones).
By Bus – 21, 36, 37, 463, 478, 479, GL300 to Clandon Regis Golf Club or Merrow Tennis Club.
By Bicycle – Secure, covered bike racks at the side of the venue.
By Car / Motorbike – Major road links from A3, A25, A246 and A247. Large free car park outside venue with dedicated motorbike bays.

Club Facilities
Our Guildford venue benefits from an air conditioned training area, with full-length mirrors, punchbags, a sound-system, full changing facilites & showers too. Drinks & snacks are available onsite, plus the venue has a fully-equipped gymnasium & swimming pool too, should members wish to join LA Fitness.

Club History
Guildford is the main county town of Surrey, as well as the seat for the borough of Guildford. It is situated on the A3 and the A25, and is well known for its beautiful Cathedral, and also the University Of Surrey.

Our martial arts school is based at LA Fitness just outside of the town, and opened to the public in September 2010. It is the first school to be opened by Instructor Mark Williams, who began his training with the UKKFF at the start of 2004, completed the Apprentice Level of the Federation Wing Tsun System in mid-2009, and has been an assistant at our Wimbledon school since 2008. We are very proud to have such an able, dedicated practitioner represent us in the Guildford area.
