Club Facilities
This venue has seen many changes & improvements over the years. Initially quite run-down and basic, between 2007 & 2009 the sports centre had a £23M redevelopment, and now boasts some really good facilities. We often use the new dance studio, which has full-length mirrors, a sprung wooden floor, air-con, and a built-in sound-system. We also use the main sports hall, which has tons of space to swing weapons around, and a very grippy floor. The centre also has outdoor training areas, plus a great bar & cafe area to relax in, either before or after training.

Club History
Chessington is a Surrey town situated between Leatherhead and Kingston-Upon-Thames. It is well known for Chessington World Of Adventures, a family theme park operated by the Tussauds Group. The town has an excellent college-owned Sports Centre which was home to one of our martial arts schools for almost a decade.

In July 2002 Sifu Lee Paul Heron opened his third school here shortly after he chose to devote his professional career to the understanding & teaching of the martial arts. The club taught hundreds of students, hosted lots of workshops & seminars, and even produced several instructors right up until September 2010, when a reorganization of all our local clubs & schools made the venue better suited to larger seminars & events, instead of weekly General Classes.

Come & Join Us
Between July 2002 & September 2010, our Chessington club welcomed students from many surrounding towns including Oxshott, Leatherhead, Tolworth & Claygate, but now these areas are better served by our other local schools.

If you’re within reach and want to know more about real martial arts, come & give us a try for 4 weeks, completely FREE. You’ll find us friendly, relaxed, happy to share knowledge, and experts at what we do. Welcome to the UKKFF.
