Getting Started
As the name suggests, personal fitness training is all about your personal needs. If you want to improve your health & quality of life it really helps to have someone beside you to provide the answers and that all-important motivation. We'll sit down with you to discuss your goals and find out about your current health situation. Then we'll explain our approach and tailor a bespoke training programme to your needs. You'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discover what's involved. Finally all that remains is for us to start working with you to reach your goal. You can do it!
The procedure for each new personal training client is as follows;
- Contact us to arrange an appointment with your Personal Trainer.
- Free informal consultation session at our New Malden HQ
- - We discover your own goals
- - We explain & discuss our approach towards realising your goals
- - You complete a simple Health & Fitness questionnaire to help us choose the best way to help you
- - We create a bespoke fitness programme for you
- - We agree a fixed number of training sessions & the total price
- Start your training programme at the agreed time.
- Start seeing results!
Where Do I Train?
Personal training sessions usually take place at our headquarters which is located on the New Malden High Street. We have all our facilites & equipment located there. However depending on your needs it may be possible for us to come to you, and for some types of outdoor training we will arrange to meet at a suitable location, such as Richmond Park. All this will be discussed & agreed with you during the informal consultation session.
When Can I Train?
Our Personal Trainers are available between any of the following times each week, so you should be able to find a slot which suits your work/life commitments.
- Monday: 07.00 - 17.00 (Early Start Day)
- Tuesday: 15.00 - 20.00
- Wednesday: 15.00 - 20.00
- Thursday: 15.00 - 20.00
- Friday: 15.00 - 20.00
- Saturday: 14.00 - 18.00
The frequency of your training sessions (once a week, twice a week or more) is up to you, however your Personal Trainer will advise you as to a suggested frequency according to your agreed goals & current health situation.
Our Prices
As a non-profit organisation we are committed to keeping prices affordable to the average person, which means we compare very favourably with any other qualified personal training group. We also offer further discounted rates to any existing member of the UK Kung-Fu Federation, because your martial art will improve if your body is working at greater efficiency.

Unsure? You are welcome to pay for just your first one-hour session and then see if you'd like to continue. We don't offer contracts and to date have never needed a piece of paper to force anyone to remain with us.
Non-members are welcome to join the Federation and take advantage of the reduced prices. We hope that this will encourage people to start training one or both of our martial arts too, as the benefits to your health are then greatly multiplied. You can find out more about Federation Membership here.
