  14. I’ve already had a free trial, but that was a while ago, and now I want to try again. Can I have ANOTHER free trial?

1: How old/what age do you need to be to attend a free trial?
We only accept students above the age of 15 in our General Classes. If you are currently aged below 15, but will reach this age before the start of our next term, you are welcome to submit an application.

2: How much will my free trial cost?
Nothing at all. As the name suggests, the free trial is completely free of charge.

3: Do I have to sign up to anything, or provide my credit card/bank account details?
Absolutely not.

4: How do I book my free trial place?
Complete the free trial application, which will only take you 2 minutes. You can apply to begin training immediately, or at the start of the next available term, or on any future term up to a year in advance. It’s best to start at the beginning of a term if at all possible.

5: What happens next after I apply for my free trial?
We’ll check when & where you’d like to attend, and if we have the capacity to offer you a place, we’ll let you know directly via email. If your chosen location or start date is fully booked, we’ll get back to you and suggest some alternative options.

6: I’ve applied, but not heard anything yet. Do I have a place?
We usually answer all applications within 48 hours, but please be patient. We WILL let you know, but we do get very busy. You’re most welcome to contact us and check that we’ve received your application if you wish.

7: How long does my free trial period last?
Four consecutive weeks counting from the date of your first lesson. You cannot split the weeks over a longer period. If you cannot commit to four weeks of regular classes, simply wait for a better time to start training with us.

8: How many classes can I attend during my free trial period?
As many as you like. We don’t offer four free lessons, we offer four free weeks during which you can attend General Classes at ANY & ALL of our locations, as many times as you wish. We want you to fully evaluate our arts, our teaching, and our organisation, so attend & train as much as you can.

9: I haven’t booked a free trial place. Can I just turn up and start anyway?
No you cannot, sorry. We have a limited number of places at each location per-term, and if there are too many new students it’s not possible to teach everyone effectively. You’ll need to apply for a place and receive confirmation from us before you can expect to begin training. The only reason you won’t have a place is either: (1) You didn’t apply, or: (2) Your chosen start date was fully booked up, in which case we would have offered you some alternative options.

10: I confirmed my place, but can’t remember the date/time/location of my first class. Can you help?
Don’t panic. You can send a blank email to joinus@ukkff.org and our auto-responder will instantly reply will details of the free trial period. You can also contact the HQ during office hours and we can re-send your original confirmation email.

11: I confirmed my place, but missed my first lesson due to work/life/emergency! Can I start the week after instead?
Yes you can. Please let us know, and your trial period will then run for four weeks from the date of your first lesson. Or you could attend another of our schools that week and start there instead.

12: My circumstances have changed since I applied, and I can no longer use my place. What should I do?
Please contact us directly. We can move your application to a future date, or remove you from our database completely if you wish. Please DO let us know though – we are very popular and can easily give your place to the next person on the waiting list.

13: Do I have to join the UKKFF after my free trial ends?
Only if you wish to continue your martial arts training with us. If so, then yes, you must join and become a full member of our growing organisation. However if you decide not to continue, then you are free to leave with no obligations whatsoever. Our free trial is offered with absolutely no strings attached.

14: I’ve already had a free trial a while ago, and now i’d like to try again. Can I have ANOTHER free trial?
Sorry, but no. It was our pleasure to provide you with four weeks of free training in our classes, let you experience our teaching style, and supply good information without charge. Although you didn’t stay then, you obviously saw enough to make you want to come back now. So, like everyone else who’s completed a free trial, you now need to join the UKKFF and pay for any further tuition.
