Seminar Overview

This seminar has been carefully planned to ensure that all members get the most out of their day. We welcome back Grandmaster Steve Tappin and Wayne Tappin from the Escrima Concepts System, our own Mark Williams (UKKFF Cobham) sharing some of his HMPS skills & knowledge, plus the UKKFF Head Instructor and developer of the Federation Wing Tsun System, Sifu Lee Paul Heron.

The morning will consist of two groups doing preparatory exercises in Kung-Fu and Escrima, so that everyone is ready for the main afternoon session. Assessments will also take place during the morning, so that after lunch everyone can get on with the main event.

The afternoon session features three areas taught in a Round-Robin style format, as follows:

  1. Escrima Concepts with GM Steve Tappin & Wayne Tappin
  2. Federation Wing Tsun Kung-Fu with Sifu Lee Paul Heron
  3. Multi-Person Control & Restraint with Mark Williams

Students will split into groups and rotate to each area in turn, spending an hour with each set of instructors, then having a short break. The preparatory exercises taught to everyone in the morning will be built upon in different ways, depending on the experience level of each group of students.

The price of this event is £35 per-person (as per our standard event pricing) which is amazing value for an entire day of tuition. Remember, we’ve got the heads of two integrated martial arts systems and the entire UKKFF instructor team there for you. We can’t wait to see lots of people along for a wonderful day of fun and good training, plus hopefully see many of you pass tests and move up the ranks too.

As usual, please try to book your seminar place PLUS any assessments in advance, which saves us lots of admin time on the day.
